Peer Recovery Groups, Counseling & Therapy Sessions for Stress, Trauma, and Family Issues
Mental Health Assistance for First Responders and Veterans
Heroes Comfort is a non-profit organization offering various online mental health services to support first responders and veterans. We are a fully operational peer survival group catering to a diverse pool of active and retired emergency professionals, including police officers, firefighters, nurses, EMTs, and other medical personnel.
Based out of Lacona, Iowa, we extend our mental health services and recovery support to all community heroes across the United States.

Your Stories Matter to Us
We foster a judgment-free environment where you can share your experiences and tell us what you have been through. Our programs provide assessment, crisis stabilization, and referral to an appropriate level of ongoing care.
We believe in personalized care and offer individual and group counseling and therapy sessions. We have compassionate peer support staff and licensed therapists to guide you through every step of the process.

Connect With Others
We have veteran support groups and put you in direct touch with individuals who are going through a similar phase in life or have successfully battled stress, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental disorders in the past.
Our dedicated phone line will connect you to the person of your choice – leaders, liaisons, or spiritual ministers – when you need to talk or just vent your frustration and emotions. You can also become a member and reach out to those struggling with the devastating mental aftermath of their careers.

Support Our Cause
We rely on generous donations and grants to support our community heroes who are going through difficult times in their lives. Please donate today and help us make a difference in the lives of those who don’t hesitate to put their lives on the line to protect us.
